Gawpers this looks like it could be really good. The trailer isn’t so bad, but the quote “live for something, or die for nothing” towards the end its really cheesy. I think stopping after the original first blood movie would have been a good ending point - but with CGI now, this will be awesome (imho).

I had every intention of seeing Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and it made it all the more sweet when I noticed Leslie Bibb on the cover of Stuff magazine promoting the film.

I think Will Ferrell is a genius and anyone who thinks otherwise, I will fight you where you stand! Leslie Bibb was on freakin’ Popular which puts her in rockstar status in my book. And if you weren’t into that show it’s best you keep that to yourself because I will just think you’re freakin’ stupid.

The article in Stuff itself was pretty funny since Leslie interviewed as her character, Ricky Bobby’s trophey wife, instead of herself. So, in essence, these Stuff magazine photos are all pretty much a spoof which makes it all the more funny.

I must say, that I am pleased that the mighty Will Ferrell would choose a normal woman for the cast and not some sex puppet or brainless blonde. I’m getting rather tired of the vapid, surgically enhanced, talentless poptarts that we are forced to watch in every form of media.

Leslie is purrrre magic!!!

I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t actually seen it myself but there’s a new TMNT movie…and it looks pretty good.

It’s being put out by Warner Bros and is in CG. It has a very The Batman look about it…which doesn’t surprise me since it’s put out by the same studio.
It will be nice to see an animated action movie out there other than that Titan A.E. piece of crap. Here’s to hoping studios will take a chance on an unused medium.

Paramount Does Not Want You To See Transformers
13 Comments Published July 7th, 2006Read More: Action

Some poor dude got his site shut down because he posted this picture of the Bumblebee Transformer morphing out of it’s Camaro shape.
The part I love about this story is where this angry blogger, John Campea, writes a pissed off letter on his site about his altercation with the mighty studio. Then Paramount e-mails the chap asking for his phone number so they can discuss it on the phone. They ask what they can do to make him feel better.
He replies that he would like her boss to call and give him an apology. Apparently, said boss is away on a road trip and John is eagerly awaiting his explanation and apology.

I’m excited about Tranformers but I’m not sure if I’m excited about this trailer. Being a teaser, it means it shows you a whole lotta nuthin. And after seeing the Spider-Man 3 kick-ass trailer, this one is pretty meh.
Watch and cross your fingers that the next one will be a little more Decepticon fuck yo’ shit up badness.

I freakin’ loved it! I caught the midnight showing at the Imax in 3-D, which was awesome. If you have the opportunity to see it that way take advantage of it.
Sure, we had to wait in line for a good hour for the sold out show but it was well worth it to hang with friends and check out those that showed up in cape and blue tights.

I really hope it thorougly kicks Brett Fatner’s X-Men in the ass! Bryan Singer directed a highly enjoyable film in comparison to Fatner trying to be the next McG of vapid drivel.

I liked Brandon Routh as the new Superman. I think he did a good job and pulled off a performance very much like the original Christopher Reeve. I think that Brandon would have made Christopher and Dana Reeve proud.

I would be willing to say that I liked it on par with Batman Begins. It had a good story, good character development, it was acted well and it went through the range of emotions rather than it being just some fluffy action piece.

Bryan Singer revisited elements of the first Superman film to introduce it to new audiences, while adding his own flair. The film had a lot of heart and would appeal to both men and women. Singer really delved into the Louis and Clark romance giving the picture layers.
I really felt that he delivered a solid superhero piece along with a strong film. Shiiit, I’d hire him.
